The external Spheris III AC~ Regenerator provides stable, regulated, and sanitized AC power, regardless of the quality of the incoming AC line. This power supply provides a lowered noise floor, more liquidity, better spatial three-dimensional imaging, more focus, richer colors and NO glare and fog.

The choice of signal and power tubes has a major influence on the sound and thus on the inspiration and listening pleasure. This is not only the decision between good and bad tubes, but also the interaction of the different types of tubes and their combination used in the different Ayon amps.

We believe that the simplest circuits work best with the shortest signal path. The shorter the signal path, the less chance of noise degradation from various sources, including the wire itself. Even on the printed circuit boards, the copper traces are kept to a very minimal length. The completely redesigned circuit board provides a more straight-lined and direct approach to the signal paths.

AC~ReGenerator – Power supply

The power supplies have been further refined with new components and improved AC line noise filtration. Separate current transformers, chokes and filters provide total isolation between the input and output stages, making this a pure power source. We also use electrolytic capacitors with a much larger storage capacity to compensate for the loss of filtering when using resistors instead of inductors.

Double earthing system

The change in ground topology results in greater noise rejection from the power supply and other areas. The dual ground topology used in all of our amps is quite unique to the entire hi-end tube amp industry. Such an extensive topology creates a calmer backdrop from which the music can unfold in its entirety. It also provides the fast and controlled bass response and the full expression of the high frequency. The ground leg of the signal has not been neglected and much attention has been paid to its implementation. The importance of proper grounding cannot be overemphasized.

Mechanical construction

The premium aluminum chassis provides a richer, glossier tonality with a cleaner background and less hash and grain. All brushed anodized anti-vibration resonance and non-magnetic chassis are completely hand assembled to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
