Since its introduction more than 30 years ago, Audio-Technica’s groundbreaking series of OC9 moving coil cartridges has been prized by discerning vinyl listeners and professional critics for its musical transparency, sound expression and precision construction. Microlinear complex diamond profile that enables higher frequency response, experiences details like never before and limits the distortion of the inner grooves. Microlinear diamond profile ensures low record and stylus wear.
- Features a naked microlinear stylus and drill cantilever that provides less distortion and high transient response
- A neodymium magnet and permendur yoke provide dramatically increased magnetic energy
- Threaded inserts in the cartridge housing allow the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell or integral tonearm with just two screws – no nuts required
- The aluminum housing minimizes unwanted vibrations for less resonance and superior audio reproduction
- Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting process (PCOCC) is used for the coils to achieve pure signal transmission
Microlineaire stylus
Microlinear diamond profile provides high frequency response with less wear and distortion than elliptical or conventional linear contact styli.
Easy installation
The threaded holes in the cartridge housing allow the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell or integral tonearm with just two M2.6 screws – no nuts or bolts required.
